Ringwald Wants Parents To Share "Recipes" For A Good Start



(Undated) -- Molly Ringwald has inhabited many roles in her career. Now, the 42-year-old actress is talking about her role as a mother of three. Ringwald is collaborating with Ragu on "Recipe for a Good Start," a promotion to encourage parents to share insights on cooking and raising happy kids. The "Pretty In Pink" star says making meals together can keep the entire family close.

Ringwald is keeping busy these days. She's currently starring in the ABC Family series "The Secret Life The American Teenager" and appeared at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards during a tribute for the late filmmaker John Hughes. Ringwald has also authored the book "Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family, And Finding The Perfect Lipstick" which is due in stores this April.
