(New Haven, CT) -- Another hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday on the prison conditions of Cheshire home invasion and triple homicide suspect Steven Hayes. A New Haven Superior Court Judge has agreed to a defense request for additional testimony from Dr. Susan Ducate. She's the director of psychiatric services for the state Department of Correction. Defense attorneys say Hayes has been kept in inhumane conditions in a prison infirmary following his suicide attempt January 30th. Jury selection has been suspended since then as well. Hayes and Joshua Komisarjevsky are accused of killing Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters during the July, 2007 home invasion.
