(Washington, DC) -- The White House still hopes healthcare reform can be put to a final vote in Congress before March 18th. That's when President Obama departs on a trip to Indonesia and Australia. Congressional Democratic leaders have warned that a March 18th timetable for final passage may not be possible. Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs said March 18th remains a goal, not a recommended deadline. Obama has been pressing Congress to push healthcare reform over the finish line. The issue stalled after the House and Senate passed different health insurance reform bills last year.
