Dierks Bentley To Introduce Bluegrass CD With Tour
Dierks Bentley plans to introduce his upcoming bluegrass album with a tour. The singer will launch the "Up on the Ridge" trek next month. The 24-date road trip will include stops at small clubs and bluegrass festivals. Bentley says he decided to take the material to the stage in advance of its release because, quote, "the only way I know to explain what this new album is to all the fans is to just get out on the road and play it for them." He adds that he's excited about the performances, noting, quote, "I've been rehearsing and working on set lists already...every show is going to be different and really special." Bentley anticipates the trek being "a total blast," and notes he's hoping to extend the tour. He's slated to begin his road work with a show in Portland, Oregon on April 21st. Bentley's CD "Up On The Ridge" is expected to arrive in stores this summer.
