Green Day continues to consider how they'll follow up last year's CD, "21st Century Breakdown." Singer Billie Joe Armstrong says the band has begun working on possible tracks, telling "Kerrang!" magazine that they started hashing out material during their European tour last fall. He explains, quote, "We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow, and some in Amsterdam." Armstrong notes the songs aren't polished, but were captured in "some early form." No timetable has been offered for Green Day's upcoming studio project. The band's last two albums, "21st Century Breakdown" and 2004's "American Idiot," both earned GRAMMY awards for Best Rock Album.
