U.S. Pressures Iraq To Form New Government

(Washington, DC) -- Washington is stepping up the pressure on Iraq to form a new government ahead of the U.S. troop withdrawal. Vice President Joe Biden has called on Iraqi politicians to break the deadlock in Baghdad and "get on with the business of governing." Biden emphasized it's time for Iraq's political leaders to fulfill their responsibility. Despite the political stalemate in Baghdad, the U.S. military remains on track to reduce the size of its forces in Iraq to 50-thousand troops by August 31st.
