GM Could Be Cutting Jobs In Kokomo

(Kokomo, IN) -- United Auto Workers employees of General Motors in Kokomo could be out of a job within the next two-and-a-half years. UAW member Mike Dennis said they've been told the plant could close in October of 2012.

The "Indianapolis Star" quotes GM spokesman Kevin Nadrowski as saying the automaker is "assessing the business model at the plant based on recent business decisions." He would not say if the plant is closing.
