(Dearborn, MI) -- The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, Michigan is raising funds for a bronze bust of controversial retired White House reporter Helen Thomas. A 45-day internet campaign is planned to raise the remaining ten-thousand dollars needed to finalize the purchase of the artwork. Some resistance to the fundraising is anticipated. Many in the Jewish community feel slighted by Thomas's recent comments that, "Israel should get the hell out of Palestine." Those comments forced the 89-year-old Lebanese-American reporter into retirement several months ago.
