(St. Louis, MO) -- The federal government has launched two independent investigations into a St. Louis VA hospital which may have exposed 18-hundred dental patients to HIV and other viruses. Missouri Congressman Russ Carnahan spokesperson Sara Howard says the independent investigations will help get all the information out about the problems the John Cochran VA Medical Center allegedly has.
Howard also says the investigations were launched because of worries the VA's own internal investigation would be truly unbiased.
