VIDEO: Zac Efron Asked Hudgens' Permission To Go To Strip Club
(Undated) -- "High School Musical" actor Zac Efron is owning up to spending his Sunday night at a New York City strip club. When he appeared Wednesday night on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," he admitted to going to the club but said he didn't do it without permission from girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. He says, quote, "She was fine with it. I'm not the type of guy who does this kind of thing often." Efron adds that going to Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club didn't exactly live up to his expectations, which he says he got from listening to hip-hop. The actor says, quote, "I envisioned myself on a nice couch with 'stunna shades' with T-Pain and Usher making it rain money. And it just wasn't like that."
Efron spent three hours Sunday night at Flashdancers with actor Corbin Bleu. The "New York Post" reported they spent around two-thousand-dollars on VIP lounge seats, a bottle of vodka, and several lap dances. Efton stars in the movie, "Charlie St. Cloud," which arrives in theaters this weekend.
